San Diego Public Library invites one and all to watch the Football (Soccer) World Cup on our big screens! The World Cup is contested every 4 years by the men's and women's national soccer teams of countries. It's the most widely viewed and followed sporting event in the world, held this year in Qatar.
Four SDPL library locations will each broadcast live a total of 17 matches including the quarter and semifinals during library open hours at the Central, City Heights, Linda Vista, and Pacific Beach libraries. All matches will begin at 11 a.m.
