Celebration of Life for Coach Herb Meyer

Come celebrate and honor the life of Coach Herb Meyer with Carol Meyer (spouse) Joe and David (sons) Meyer as they prepare to say goodbye. There are two events open to the public. Funeral mass at the Mission in Oceanside at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 19 and a Celebration of Life on May 20 at 4 p.m. His wife Carol wants everyone two know that both events are open to everyone (public). Legendary High School Coaches Ed Burke and John Carroll are the keynote speakers for the Celebration of Life event at El Camino HS on May 20 at 3 - 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers , the family requests donating to the Herb Meyer Scholarship Memorial Fund. The fund will provide yearly scholarships to Oceanside Student Athletes. It has been filed as a 501c and as the family waits for it to be established, they have setup a gofundme page.

The family asks if you can mention the Celebration of Life event for May 20 at Herb Meyer Stadium and the Memorial Scholarship Fund.
