This Fourth of July, treat yourself and your loved ones with a Shelter Island getaway in the heart of San Diego. Spend the long weekend by one of our two waterfront pools, participate in our patriotic programming, watch San Diego’s iconic Big Bay Boom from the resort, or simply relax on our private stretch of sand on the Kona Kai beach.
The Big Bay Boom fireworks show is displayed from four barges on the San Diego Bay on July 4, at 9 p.m. The Shelter Island barge is located directly outside of our resort, so be sure to bring your lawn chairs, friends, or rent a boat to watch from the water.
