The artist duo Brian & Ryan, shown in a May 17, 2022 photo, have created a site-specific series of art interventions at Chollas Lake for Park Social, including their "personas" that reflect the multiplicity of the park: an active person dressed for a workout (Brian Black, shown in yellow), and a nature enthusiast dressed in outdoorsy gear (Ryan Bullis, shown gazing at nature).

'Park Social' to bring art to San Diego parklands

Interact with Art Builds' "Reflexion" installation, a series of three periaktoi composed of independently rotating mirrored sections. Park-goers can visually experience and manipulate each periaktoi to reveal varying reflections of their surroundings.

Park Social is a citywide initiative introducing social-specific public art into San Diego’s vast and varied park system. Held for six months in 2022, Park Social engages with a broad and constantly shifting audience of park-goers through responsive artistic projects.
