The paper reports the memo is based on an FBI intelligence. However, FBI spokeswoman Jan Cladwell will not discuss it.

Cladwell: "These are ongoing, classified pieces of material and information that come through so that's just nothing that I can say."

The Daily Bulletin reports the memo says the human smugglers intend to bring members of the Mara Salvatrucha street gang into the United States to perform the killings. Authorities say the gang is not a problem in San Diego. Amy Isackson, KPBS news.
