The pin up poses of Bettie Page'the woman who rose to fame in the 1950s and whose bangs and shoulder-length black hair famously framed her pert features'may seem tame by today's standards yet there's something about those images that have stuck in our pop consciousness. Now filmmaker Mary Harron looks to the woman behind those images for The Notorious Bettie Page (opening April 21 at Landmark's Hillcrest and La Jolla Village Cinemas).
