Rain Brings Concern Over Coastal Runoff
Tom Fudge: Rain is almost always welcome in arid San Diego, and tonight we're expecting to get some. But while rain greens up the hills and valley, it also fouls our coastal waters with runoff. Local officials test for bacteria levels in the water after it rains. But a new study makes it clear that deadly viruses are also in the water after a rainfall, at least near the Mexican border.
