Del Mar Singer/Songwriter Michael Tiernan writes music about overcoming challenges. A diagnosis of testicular cancer when he was 16 later inspired Tiernan to channel his experience into music. The folk musician also volunteers with Steps for Living, a non-profit that helps inform young adult cancer survivors. Tiernan is holding a release concert at the Belly Up in Solana Beach on April 15th, which will also benefit Steps for Living.
