Gardeners Struggle with the Region's Extreme Drought
Tom Fudge:
This year and last, California has been going through a drought. Not only has rainfall been sparse around San Diego, but water from the Rockies and the Sierras has been in very limited supply. And just a couple of weeks ago, a judge's decision to protect a small fish in the Sacramento Delta put California water transfers in jeopardy. For homeowners in San Diego, this could mean a lot less water for landscaping your yard and garden.
