Californians Asked to Vote on Minor Abortion Notification for 3rd Time in 4 Years
Tom Fudge : In this election, California voters may suffer a slight case of deja vu. That's because they will be voting on a measure that would create a system of parental notification for minors getting abortions.
In 2005 and 2006, Californians voted twice on very similar measures, rejecting them both times. But supporters of parental notification think the third time may be a charm. In fact, a recent Public Policy Institute poll shows Prop 4 leading among California voters, with 46 percent of the vote opposed to 44 percent against. A fair number of people are obviously still undecided.
