Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders returns to San Diego on Sunday as part of a get-out-the-vote concert and rally. He was here two weeks ago, making stops in National City and Vista.
Sanders will be appearing at Qualcomm Stadium parking lot. The concert will feature Nahko and Medicine for the People, Michael Mowgli & The Altruists, and Joel Rafael. Comedian George Lopez also is scheduled to be there.
Doors open at 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is encouraged.
Attendees are being asked to not bring bags and only bring small, personal items like keys and cellphones. Signs and banners are not being allowed.
Parking will be limited, so organizers are encouraging attendees to use public transportation.
