I'm looking to buy another prop replica sword or light saber at the Comic-Con... & I'm taking donations
When I was younger, I used to make sure and save my money all year long for Comic-Con. That's when I wanted -- no needed -- to buy action figures, samurai swords, light sabers and some video games. I used to save over $500, and then I would budget $125 a day to spend. Those were the days when I could buy anything at Comic-Con. (This year I got lazy and forgot to save much money.) But looking back on those good old days, I believe my best buy was my first samurai sword. It was a replica of The Letters from Iwo Jima officers' swords. I think the sword was my best buy because I've always liked to learn about the history of the samurai and when I play with my sword I feel like I'm a samurai in some epic battle against evil. This year I have close to no money saved, but I'm hoping my mom will help out so I can get another samurai sword or maybe a Yoda light saber. Either way, Comic-Con always has a good selection. But my mom says I can't put any more holes in the fence or trim back the bushes.
