They include the Canadian soprano, Measha Brueggergosman, who delighted millions of international television viewers when she sang at the Opening Ceremony of the 2010 Olympics; the siblings Mari and Hakon Samuelsen, superb young musicians and organizers of this annual event; members of the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra; Choir Collegium Vocale and the Grammy-nominated Trondheim Soloists.
The concert will feature performances of "Oh, Holy Night," "Adeste Fidelis," "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," "Silent Night," "Winter" from Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons," and other traditional holiday music. Along with all the festive music from the beautiful little church will be outdoor scenes of wintertime and holiday celebrations in Norway.
Hosts for "A Christmas Concert From Norway" will be Her Highness Princess Martha Louise of Norway and Harald Zwart the noted film director whose most recent production is the "The Karate Kid."
