San Diego Chargers fans are fired up for the second-round playoff game Sunday in Denver. On Tuesday, a few dozen fans were at the team store at Qualcomm Stadium to buy merchandise.
San Diego native Janice Walker said she comes from a Chargers family, and they’re headed to Denver this weekend for the big game.
"I love the Chargers, and I love what it does to our community and our city. It brings us all together," Walker said.
Art Cluff, a longtime Chargers fan, was at the store for the second time this week. He was picking up a second set of free calendars and a program.
Cluff said he is willing to do anything that will bring the Chargers luck this weekend.
"I'm not superstitious, but at this point in my life, since rooting for the Chargers since 1967, I'm willing to do or try anything,” Cluff said.
Kickoff is set for 1:40 p.m. Sunday at Mile High Stadium in Denver.
