East County Residents To Vote On Marijuana Tax, Development And Term Limit Measures

San Diego Union-Tribune East County reporter Karen Pearlman joined Midday Edition on Thursday to discuss the measures and offices East County voters will vote for this election.

The biggest and most consequential election choices in San Diego’s East County this year are undoubtedly the 50th Congressional District race and the choice of county supervisor in District 2.

But the two big races are not the only election stories coming out of the cities of El Cajon, Lemon Grove, Santee and La Mesa. There are mayoral races, lots of city council seats up for grabs and measures over development, term limits and a marijuana tax.
