The Space Shuttle Endeavour landed at the Kennedy Space Center early this morning for the very last time. The six-person crew of the Endeavour was very busy during the 16 days it spent in space, according to the Christian Science Monitor:
The Associated Press reports Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was not present as her husband, shuttle commander Mark Kelly, glided the Endeavour in for a landing. She remained at her treatment center in Houston, where she is undergoing intensive rehabilitation after being shot in the head while holding a meet-and-greet with her Arizona constituents.
The Endeavour's final home will be here in California. After NASA decommissions the shuttle, they'll ship it to the California Science Center in Los Angeles for permanent display.
