Army IDs Two Soldiers Who Drowned In South Korea

A memorial service was held Tuesday for the two soldiers who died last week in South Korea.

Maj. Evans Hanson, 35, and Pfc. Justin Adams, 21, drowned when their Humvee fell into the Hantan River on Nov. 21.

As Home Post reported, the soldiers were driving toward the Rodriguez Live Fire Complex in Yeoncheon, South Korea when the accident took place.

Hanson was from Sugarland, Texas and Adams's hometown is listed as North Redington, Fla.

Both men were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 15th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, headquartered at Camp Hovey in Dongducheon.
