A federal jury in Jackson, Miss., has convicted a reputed Klansman of kidnapping and conspiracy in connection with a murder case dating back to the Civil Rights era.
James Ford Seale, who is now 71, had pleaded not guilty in the case involving the 1964 beating deaths of two black teenagers, Henry Dee and Charles Moore. Seale was indicted in January, some 43 years after the killings.
As NPR's Allison Keyes tells Michele Norris, Seale now faces life in prison.
