Montana in Political Spotlight; Ex-Rep. Barr May Run

Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have been working their way across the West this weekend, and Saturday they converged in Butte, Mont. The people of Montana can't quite get over how much attention they're getting from the candidates this year.

Montana holds its Democratic primary June 3. The contenders are also trying to sway the state's superdelegates, including Sen. Jon Tester, who isn't ready to commit to a candidate.

Adding to the political mix, former Rep. Bob Barr has announced that he's setting up a presidential exploratory committee. The Georgia Republican says he might seek the Libertarian Party nomination.

Because of his strong conservative background, some political experts wonder whether he could draw some votes away from Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee.
