Another Moderate Earthquake In Mexico Felt In San Diego

A magnitude 4.5 tremor struck Baja California near Mexicali and lightly shook San Diego today, but no damage or injuries were reported, according to the sheriff's department.

The quake hit at 11:34 a.m. about 8 miles southwest from Guadalupe Victoria south of Mexicali, or about 120 miles east-southeast of San Diego, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Last Sunday, a magnitude 4.1 quake in the same area struck in the afternoon with several recorded aftershocks.
