  • The Rob Machado Foundation Annual Benefit Concert and Fundraiser, featuring Grammy award-winning musician Lukas Nelson, will be held in partnership with Belly Up at Alila Marea Beach Resort on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 5:30 p.m. A culmination of the resort’s Alila Sessions Summer Series, which also supported the Rob Machado Foundation, proceeds from the concert will once again benefit the foundation, which aims to educate and empower young people to make sustainable choices.   • On October 22 and 23, the 11th annual Exposure event is returning to the Encinitas Community Park. This event will showcase female, trans and nonbinary skateboarders from all over the world and raise money and awareness for the Community Resource Center’s domestic violence program. Attendees can expect to enjoy free, all-ages skateboarding clinics by Impala, a family-friendly vendor village featuring a Bones Love Milk Game Zone, Sambazon’s Skate Rising area where girls can participate in creating kindness rocks and supporting donated goods to the domestic violence shelters and live competitions between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. each day.
