  • How can digital systems improve access to public services, health care, education and financial inclusion at national scale? India offers a glimpse into this type of technological governance. The country’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) has become a globally significant model for how governments can use technology to deliver services more effectively, efficiently and inclusively. In this talk, Manoj Ahuja will discuss how DPI is transforming agriculture through AgriStack and education through platforms like the Academic Bank of Credits and DIKSHA. Then, Arti Ahuja will examine how DPI is reshaping health care through the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and supporting informal sector workers through the e-Shram database, linking citizens to public entitlements, skill-building and employment opportunities. This public lecture series is organized by the Peter F. Cowhey Center on Global Transformation and the 21st Century India Center at the UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS).

  • Experience an unforgettable evening with Elijah Rock as he brings his newly acclaimed album "Memories Unleashed – Impulse 1" to life on stage. Inspired by his father’s diagnosis with Alzheimer’s disease, the album is both a celebration of timeless music and a deeply personal reflection on memory, love, and legacy. Having spent weeks in the Top 40 on the national jazz charts, "Memories Unleashed" is a soulful journey through The Great American Songbook, blending the elegance of classic jazz with intimate storytelling rooted in lived experience. Each performance invites audiences into a space where music becomes a vessel for remembrance, connection, and hope. Backed by a stunning roster of world-class musicians who have performed with legends including Ray Charles, Al Jarreau, Nancy Wilson, and Natalie Cole, Memories Unleashed captures the sophistication and soul of a golden era, brought vividly into the present through arrangements critics have called “timeless, swinging, and deeply human.” Through song, Elijah Rock reminds us that while memories may fade, the feelings they carry—and the people we love—remain forever within us. Join Elijah Rock for an evening of refined swing, rich storytelling, and musical excellence that honors the past while inspiring the future. “It takes a certain kind of artist these days to carry on the torch passed on from the likes of Nat ‘King’ Cole, Freddie Cole, Billy Eckstine and Joe Williams.” — Jazz Weekly "Memories Unleashed" runs June 8 and 9, 2026 at 7:30pm at North Coast Repertory Theatre- 987 Lomas Santa Fe Drive Solana Beach, CA 92075.
