By night, 30 individually programmable LED floodlights illuminate the sails, transforming the sculpture into a glowing beacon visible from afar. Originally designed for Burning Man, this installation celebrates its roots by returning to the city where it was built—Escondido. The artworks in the exhibition range from traditional to experimental in various media and explore ancestry, family histories, lived experiences, and painful memories resulting from Executive Order 9066, issued by President Franklin D.
