  • Tuesdays, June 3, 10, 17, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Absolute Beginner Crochet: Getting Starting! In this crochet workshop, students will learn the fundamental skills of crochet, including starting a project, basic stitches like single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), chain (ch) magic circle, and tying off. This three-week course will allow students to learn and practice the basics in-studio, practice at home, and then return with their questions and learn more. No experience necessary. Students are welcome to bring their own yarn and/or hook, but it is not necessary. We will be using size 4 yarn and between 4.00mm and 6.00mm crochet hooks. You don’t have to bring your own supplies but you are welcome to. All materials included. They’ll brainstorm unique slime ideas, develop exciting products, and design packaging tailored to their target audience—whether it’s pirate-loving kids, sports fans, or bookworms. Through hands-on activities and plenty of creativity, participants will learn essential entrepreneurial skills, from product development to marketing strategies, all while having a blast making slime.   • Learn to needle felt! Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Experience the magic of wool and learn how to paint using needle felting techniques! In this 3-hour workshop, we will create a marine landscape by layering and felting wool, as well as blending colors together. The addition of yarns will add texture and hues to your creation. Ocean and sunset make wonderful subjects for needle paintings! This class requires the use of sharp needles and you will be provided with fingers guards. No experience necessary. Ages 12+ welcome.
