  • Comic-Con badge holders: The 19th San Diego International Children's Film Festival opens Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Comic-Con International, with a full day of short films from around the world, and filmmaker and animator appearances. No Comic-Con badge needed: The festival continues all day Saturday, July 29 at the beautiful Neil Morgan Auditorium at the San Diego Central Library downtown, with more short films from around the world - animation, live action and documentary, clustered for different age groups, toddlers through teens. Free admission to Comic-Con screenings (July 23) for those with a Comic-Con badge, and free admission for everyone to all other San Diego screenings (July 29). See the film schedule here!

Join us for a fun journey of laughter, spontaneity and endless possibilities as we explore the fundamentals of improv in a supportive environment in this 8-week class on Sundays July 23 through September 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Students will learn the fundamentals of improv through a series of engaging exercises, games, and scene work as each week builds on what was learned the previous week. We will focus on building trust, sharpening listening skills, gaining confidence to think creatively in the moment, the concept of Yes And…, and so much more. Not only will you have a ton of fun, you will build self-confidence, soft business skills, and meet new people!
