Join The Reuse & Repair Collective on Giving Tuesday, December 2, for a cozy, creative evening dedicated to crafting, cinema, community, and the power of repair! This is a festive event for the whole family and our community! This special dual-track event lets you choose your own adventure: craft with the community or get inspired by sustainable cinema. Your attendance supports our mission, as all proceeds directly fund our community repair programs and keep valuable goods out of the San Diego landfill. Room 1: Hands-on Craft Stations Embroidering & Mending– learn or practice repair and embellishment techniques to give your clothes new life. Beeswax Wrap Making – make your own reusable food wrap Free-Flow DIY – bring your own project or use provided materials to create freely at your own pace. We have a lot of upcycled yarn. Room 2: Zero Waste Film Screening (Inspiration) We’ll be showcasing a Zero Waste Film sharing the beauty and necessity of circularity and sustainable living. This is the perfect dose of inspiration to wrap up a night of conscious consumption. Community & Refreshments Enjoy light refreshments and complimentary plant-forward snack options throughout the evening. This is a wonderful opportunity to mingle with like-minded community members, new neighbors, and celebrate the power of making and community. Choose what you want to do, or do some of both!
