  • The "Pleasure of Your Company" music series, sponsored by the Scripps Ranch Friends of the Library. welcomes back the Allison Adams Tucker Trio on Sunday, February 16, at 2:30 p.m. Trio members, vocalist Allison Adams Tucker, pianist Melonie Grinnell, and bassist Evona Wascinski, will explore songs in “The Language of Love” from around the world for Valentine's season. "Tucker is an astonishing singer with impeccable pitch and crystal clear diction, allowing each lyric to be heard clearly, even if the language itself was new…. Her voice is so strong—she could sing in Martian and make it sound romantic," raved Robert Bush in the San Diego Union-Tribune.
