Join us in crafting your own woven stool! In this 4-day course, each student will create their own stool from beech wood while learning the basics of woodworking, furniture design and traditional weaving techniques using Danish cord. While getting familiar with the woodshop during this class, students will learn joinery basics, cutting joinery, shaping and finishing wood, and of course, how to weave that beautiful seat! Learn to cut tapered legs using a jig on the tablesaw. Get more practice on the sliding compound miter saw.
