At 1 p.m. "Balboa Park History in Post Cards" with David Marshall AIA Architect & Author David Marshall will present highlights from his book, "San Diego’s Balboa Park." His postcard images of the park offer a rare look at San Diego’s cultural and recreational heart. At 2:30 p.m. "The Botanical Building Restorations" with Wayne Donaldson, Architect The Botanical Building in Balboa Park was constructed for the 1915 Panama California Exposition to display flora native to California. Mr. Donaldson tells us how it was faithfully restored from the ground up. Snacks are served at intermission.   • Learn about the technical aspects and creative design of live theater with Nate Cargill, Associate Technical Director at OTC and Technical Director at Oceanside High School. Students will learn essential skills in theatrical design, lighting, sound, and other technical areas of theater production. They’ll also have the opportunity to work behind the scenes during the performances of "The Spongebob Musical Youth Edition." The summer camps will run June 29 – July 10, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Design), 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Tech) Extended care is available for an additional $50 per week.
