  • The San Diego Automotive Museum is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated event, “Party in the Park” … Ignite!! An Evening at the Grand Prix. This event will take place on September 27, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the San Diego Automotive Museum, located at 2080 Pan America Plaza, San Diego, CA 92109. Guests will step into the world of speed, luxury, and innovation, immersing themselves in an atmosphere inspired by the glamour of international racing. Event highlights include live music from Liquid Blue and a thrilling live auction. Each ticket provides access to an array of exclusive perks and captivating experiences, including complimentary valet, a three-course seated dinner, fine wines from Adobe Road Winery in Napa Valley, a hosted bar, world-class entertainment, exciting surprises, and new exhibits showcasing classic and exotic cars. This year,  the “Party in the Park” will honor Dr. Steve and Lynne Wheeler and will be co-chaired by Reena Horowitz, Jill Berg, and Dr. Tess Mauricio. The evening will include a special presentation of the Titan Philanthropy Award to Paula Abdul and Ray Brock. The “Party in the Park” has raised nearly $3 million to support the San Diego Automotive Museum and its programs, including the IGNITE Academy, since 2021. This innovative program combines career exploration, independent research, and skill-building through project-based hands-on learning to prepare students for internships and other pathways towards successful careers in the automotive industry.  The IGNITE program is ideal for students in high school, who are not four-year bound, and provides mentorship, guidance, and early career exposure and experience, all at no cost to the students.  Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available now. Pricing begins at $700 for an individual ticket and $7000 for sponsorships.
