  • The 31st Annual Pacific Islander Festival returns to Ski Beach in San Diego on September 20 and 21, offering a vibrant celebration of Pacific Islander heritage, culture, and community. The two-day event is free to the public and is expected to draw more than 200,000 attendees, making it the largest Pacific Islander festival in the United States. Festival highlights include: • Cultural Villages representing various islands, each showcasing traditional arts, customs, and educational exhibits. • Over 900 entertainers performing traditional and contemporary music and dance throughout the weekend. • Pacific Islander food and craft vendors, offering authentic cuisine and handmade goods. • Community and nonprofit booths, providing resources and outreach from local organizations. In a first for the festival, this year’s event will feature a Car and Motorcycle Show organized by Pacific Islander enthusiasts.
