  • The City of Carlsbad is celebrating Arbor Day on Saturday, April 25, by partnering with local volunteers to plant trees at Poinsettia Community Park. This marks the city's 22nd consecutive year as a Tree City USA, a designation from the National Arbor Day Foundation recognizing Carlsbad’s commitment to tree care and urban forest sustainability. Plant trees at Poinsettia Community Park - Volunteer registration begins at 8 a.m., followed by a tree planting demonstration at 8:30 a.m. - Check in at the Parks & Recreation table. - Explore tree maintenance displays and information booths from event sponsors. - Tools and snacks will be provided.
