Jefferson Parker, Jim Kempton Join the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library on Sunday, October 13, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for an “Authors, Wine & Hors d ‘Oeuvres” event featuring local Edgar Award winning author T. Jefferson Parker, and California Surf Museum Director, Jim Kempton. All proceeds benefit the Oceanside Public Library. In addition to sipping wine and sampling hors d ’Oeuvres, there will be the opportunity to bid on a variety of silent auction items including a two-day stay at an Airbnb in Oceanside, museum memberships, paintings by local artists and much more. CJ Di Mento, Oceanside Library Director, will moderate a forum featuring the two authors after which there will be a question and answer period and an opportunity to have the author’s books signed.
