Step into the spirit of the holidays as the TERI Players bring Charles Dickens’ "A Christmas Carol" to life in a moving, joy-filled production for all ages. Ebenezer Scrooge (Aiden Bolt) is a wealthy but bitter man who despises Christmas and cares only for money. He mistreats his kind-hearted clerk, Bob Cratchit (Cameron Morning), ignores his cheerful nephew (Jesse Rivas), and turns away charity solicitors (Tim Sangster and Kristiana Scarpace). But on Christmas Eve, a chilling visit from his late business partner, Jacob Marley (Nolan Levinson), sets Scrooge on a journey through time with three mysterious spirits—the Ghost of Christmas Past (Moorea Howson), the Ghost of Christmas Present (Stevie Evoy), and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come (CJ Rodriguez). Through their lessons, Scrooge witnesses the cost of his cold heart and the hope of redemption before it’s too late. Every Halloween, the shows that we fear the most suddenly return. The infamous NCT Halloween SPOOKTACULAR raises its ugly head again on Friday and Saturday, October 31 and November 1 at 7:30 p.m. The performance features macabre send ups of our regular sketches, and features scenes and games that we haven’t practiced, and yet still charge full price. That’s how scary the show is… In addition, we have a new show debuting this year, just in time for Halloween. Thursday, October 30 will feature an improvised horror anthology. Jax Atelier Celebrates Grand Opening of First Brick-and-Mortar Shop in Normal Heights San Diego, CA — October 26, 2025 — After years of dreaming, planning, and creating, local artist Jacki Geary is thrilled to announce the grand opening of Jax Atelier, her first-ever brick-and-mortar retail space. The grand opening celebration will take place on Saturday, November 15, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 3180 Adams Avenue, San Diego, CA 92116, in the heart of the Normal Heights neighborhood. Founded in 2018, Jax Atelier began as a creative brand centered on handcrafted art and design. With over 25 years of experience as a professional artist, Jacki has brought her distinctive vision to life through unique collections of one-of-a-kind earrings, block-printed textiles, journals, greeting cards, prints, original paintings, and photography. In addition to her own creations, the new shop will also feature a thoughtfully curated selection of handmade goods from other talented makers — including artisan soaps, candles, and cards — along with treasures from Jax’s beloved vintage collection of pottery, glassware, artwork, and home décor. “This announcement is something I’ve been dreaming about for so many years — and it’s finally here,” says Jacki Geary. “I hope that the shop brings a little joy to people’s day — that it feels like a warm hug, filled with creativity and inspiration.
