About Daniela Kelly Daniela Kelly has over 20 years of work experience in the non-profit sector. A lifelong passion for the arts led Daniela to positions as a Museum Educator at the San Diego Museum of Art and as a Bilingual Director at the Athenaeum Art Center. Daniela currently serves as Executive Director of the Sherman Heights Community Center. At the Community Center, Daniela develops educational opportunities, cultural programming, and strategic partnerships that support the rich cultural traditions of Latino, Chicano, and Mexican-American communities while also enhancing the well-being of the communities served. Daniela earned B.A. degrees in Economic and Spanish Literature from the University of California San Diego. She has an M.A. degree in International Affairs from the School of Global Policy and Strategy, also at UC San Diego. Daniela earned a second M.A. degree from San Diego State University in Art History. In her free time, Daniela enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, seeing art exhibitions, and making chocolate from bean to bar.   • Mission Valley, an open-air shopping center located in San Diego, invites children and their families to come meet Santa starting at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 17. Visitors anxiously awaiting the opportunity to meet Santa, share holiday wish lists, and take coveted family photos with Old St. Nick will enjoy the experience of visiting Santa Claus in Mission Valley’s beautifully decorated AMC Theatres Court this year. Nearby, there will be two special mailboxes (one under the giant Christmas tree and another at the Santa set) where children can drop off their personal letters to Santa. Opportunities for professional photos with Santa will begin immediately following Santa’s arrival at the center. Professional photo packages range from $39.99 to $49.99. In addition to paid professional photos, the center’s beautiful Santa set will also include a variety of no-cost selfie opportunities. To reduce overall wait times, families are strongly encouraged to make a reservation in advance of their visit. While strongly encouraged, a reservation is not required, and walk-up visits will be accommodated on a space-available basis. Guests making an advance reservation will receive a free personalized phone call from Santa before their visit.
