  • The Hammerbombs’ new release, "F for Effort," just dropped and we’re having a party about it!! Hosted at San Diego’s iconic @thetowerbar — yep, the very location where Davey Tiltwheel got hit by a cop car while ON STAGE — join the Hammerbombs and enjoy hijinks from Middle-Aged Queers (East Bay power punk), SoCal super-friends Matt Caskill and the Breaks, and supergroup Old Julian! $10, Doors at 7, rock and roll at 8. 21+ with ID. Prizes, goodies, and good times! ***************************** * THE HAMMERBOMBS * ***************************** thehammerbombs.bandcamp.com @hammerbombsdrankallyourbeer Birthed in the Bay Area's era of overly expensive yet culturally monotonous post-enthusiasm, the Hammerbombs have continuously maintained their existence fueled by spite and beer. Their sophomoric sophomore record, "F for Effort," hit the digital and real-world shelves at the start of the month. Come celebrate this monumental feat of rock and roll! The Hammerbombs like to drink the beers and play the pop punk tunes. We've been in a million bands, and we'll probably be in a million more. Right now we're in this one. Get into it! *************************** * MIDDLE-AGED QUEERS * *************************** middleagedqueers.com middleagedqueers.bandcamp.com @middleagedqueers Described as “feeling like I’d mainlined joy” (Razorcake) and named the Bay Area’s best live band three times (Bay Area Reporter), Middle-Aged Queers are a supergroup of seasoned punks — ex-members of the Cost (Lookout Records), Fang (Boner Records), the Insaints (Maximumrocknroll Records), and the Shondes (Exotic Fever Records) — on a mission to make punk rock gay again. Since 2019, their much-talked-about show has soaked stages across North America, including appearances at Gainesville’s Fest, Montreal’s Pouzza Fest, Punk Rock Bowling, and more. *************************************** * MATT CASKITT AND THE BREAKS * *************************************** mattcaskittandthebreaks.com mattcaskittandthebreaks.bandcamp.com @mattcaskittandthebreaks Matt Caskitt & The Breaks are an American Power Pop-Punk Rock band from Southern California.
