By signing up for Clay Open Studio, you will receive 1/2 a bag of clay, 1 bisque fire, 1 glaze fire, and use of our glazes. We work with midfire clay. No outside clay is allowed (because disastrous things can happen, and we like our kilns!) Since there is no instruction in Open Studio, some clay experience is necessary. The SDMAC monthly breakfast, which takes place on the third Wednesday of every month and features prominent speakers, civilian and military, from the Department of Defense, the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.
