  • All puns are intended! Calling all lovers of dad jokes: San Diego's ONLY pun competition (as seen on CBS8 Morning Extra) is back on the FCI Main Stage! Watch, laugh, groan, or JOIN word nerds from across the city in a battle to see who's the punniest of them all—and win prizes! Pundemonium! is a three-part event based on the format used by pun contests in cities nationwide: - In Part 1, Battle of the PUNdits, participants who have signed up in advance will deliver two-minute pun-filled speeches, and the audience will determine the winner. See some examples here. NO NEED TO SIGN UP IN ADVANCE, but we always appreciate a heads-up that you're participating to sarah.flocken@gmail.com. - In Part 2, PUNslingers, punsters get two minutes to write down as many puns on a given topic as they can. May the best and most puns win. Sign up on the spot at Pundemonium! - Part 3, the PUNger Games, is a head-to-head pun-off tournament-style, where participants go back and forth making puns on a given topic until they just can't anymore. Think of it as a rap battle, but with puns. See how it’s done. Sign up on the spot at Pundemonium! Pundemonium is hosted by Sarah Flocken, two-time champion of Beltway Pundits in Washington, D.C., panel judge at the 2021 O. Henry Pun-Off World Championships and lover of the card game Punderdome. She's great company on long road trips. Pay What You Can! Reserve your tickets now! If you wish to donate to FCI's Save Our Stage fund, you'll have the opportunity at checkout.
