This Tuesday we have another Divergent Improv / Anvil of Hope show made of two never-before-seen teams of improvisers from across San Diego and Los Angeles! Admission is free with a recommended donation to the non-profit Anvil of Hope. This show we have author Sarah Flocken (@sarahflockenwrites) who will be reading excerpts from her book "Be Well" and sharing stories about her life and author experiences to provide inspiration for the improvisers’ scenes! Sarah Flocken is an author who writes unhinged fiction for the silently enraged. Publishers Weekly has said her debut novel "Be Well," which is set in 2009 during the aftermath of the Great Recession, “provides laugh-out-loud moments in an era known for its bleakness.” She is also a public relations professional, comedian, improviser, and pun contest host (yes, it’s a thing) with performance credits worldwide. The immensely popular summer "Salsa Under the Stars" returns this summer to Otay Ranch Town Center in Chula Vista. Running from mid July until mid September, the series will feature the Manny Cepeda Orchestra quartet and offer energetic Latin music and dancing for all ages during the center's popular weekly Farmers Market.
