  • Amid the U.K. and Europe leg of her completely sold-out tour, Ethel Cain has added a 2026 North American leg to her "Willoughby Tucker Forever" run. The new shows include two hometown appearances at "The Moon" in Tallahassee, dates across the Midwest and Southeast, and west coast stops at Coachella and at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park in San Diego. • All participants should rent, buy, or download" The Book of Alchemy" by Suleika Jaouad before the first class. In this 8-week workshop, we will use "The Book of Alchemy" by Suleika Jaouad as a guide for a sustained creative practice. Participants will write daily for fifty days, choosing between two prompts each day. The goal is not perfection, but presence. Most prompts can be completed in 10 to 15 minutes, making it manageable even during busy weeks. We will meet once a week for 90 minutes to share selected pieces and engage in thoughtful, witness-based reflection. This is not a critique class. Instead, we will practice deep listening and generous response, noticing what lingers, what surprises us, and what themes begin to emerge across the weeks. Through daily writing and weekly gathering, participants will: - Build consistency and confidence in their writing practice - Discover patterns and images shaping their work - Strengthen their authentic voice - Experience the power of being heard without judgment - Come ready to write, to listen, and to build a sustainable writing practice. • San Diego’s original fine art festival, Mission Fed ArtWalk, will fill the streets of San Diego’s Little Italy district with more than 250 fine artists, four music stages, interactive art for families, food and fun, Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, 2026. This year, the 42nd annual event will bring a weekend-long celebration of arts and culture to San Diego’s Little Italy. Mission Fed ArtWalk attracts 100,000 art collectors and visitors from all over the country to purchase art from established and emerging artists during the two-day festival. The event features artists from every medium of art, including painting, sculpture, glass work, photography, fine jewelry and more. After browsing and purchasing one-of-a-kind works of art, directly from the artists, attendees can enjoy four stages of live music, interactive art experiences, street food, family-friendly art projects at KidsWalk and more. This spring tradition is brought to San Diego by the same team that brings ArtWalk @ Liberty Station to the ARTS DISTRICT at Liberty Station (this year, Aug. 1-2, 2026) and ArtWalk Carlsbad to North County (Sept. 19-20, 2026), along with the fourth year of their newest event, Bella Vita Fest – a mix of chalk art and Italian wine (October 2026). Each of ArtWalk San Diego’s festivals support their non-profit partner, ArtReach San Diego, an organization aimed at increasing equity in visual arts education in schools throughout San Diego County by delivering free or low-cost workshops to schools that have no other resources for art, focusing on Title One Schools. Many of the programs ArtReach offers are provided at no cost to schools. For more information on ArtWalk San Diego and its programs, visit www.artwalksandiego.org.
