  • Learn to edit Wikipedia pages and contribute to making knowledge more accessible! Join us on June 28th from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. in editing and/or writing Wikipedia articles of interest to the LGBTQ+ community. Learn the basics of Wikipedia editing and learn more about influential and unsung LGBTQ figures. All experience levels are welcome. It is HIGHLY recommended that participants create a Wikipedia account ahead of time. The San Diego Wikimedians User Group, an affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation, will be giving a short tutorial on getting started with Wikipedia. Afterwards, we will begin editing! Computers will be available. Attendees may bring their own WiFi-enabled devices if they so desire, though in-room outlet space may be limited. We will be meeting on the 4th floor within the Wells Fargo Technology Learning Center. Parking is available through the underground parking garage. Parking fee waivers will be provided to attendees. (As waivers last. Please register ahead of time!) The library provides 2 hours of parking for free, with validation.
