  • Malashock Dance presents Everyday Dances, premiering a wide variety of dynamic and relatable dance works created by John Malashock and five commissioned dance artists. Everyday Dances is a show comprised of short contemporary dances in small groupings, created by San Diego-based choreographers who offer different perspectives, styles, and aesthetic choices. The 1-hour program is approachable, versatile, and moving. The performers include the Malashock Dance Company and guests and features choreography by Blythe Barton, Ryan Orion Beck, Lauren Christie, Marcos Duran, John Malashock, and Odessa Uno. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Patrons receive free admission to the Mingei International Museum the day of the event. Patrons must show proof of vaccination to attend the event.
