Join in a “moving” celebration marking the 75th anniversary of the iconic Balboa Park Miniature Train. On Nov. 13, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., visitors of all ages are invited to hop aboard for a fun—and free!—train ride. Every 30 minutes, the San Diego Zoo will randomly select one child to be an “honorary engineer” and receive a free train kit, with a whistle and hat. The Balboa Park Miniature Train is operated by the San Diego Zoo, and is located right outside the Zoo exit.
