The Greater San Diego Chamber Orchestra, directed by Dr. Angela Yeung, performs the 1946 orchestral version of Stravinsky’s "Petrushka." Also in the program is the "Doll Song" (Les oiseaux dans la charmille) Offenbach’s "Les contes d’Hoffmann," featuring soprano Emily Ortlieb. The ability to read is crucial to becoming a lifelong learner. Many students find it embarrassing or even impossible to practice reading aloud in a classroom where other students might make fun of their struggle with reading.
