Rugs have a deep history as a textile art, but also as objects that create space for comfort, thought, and worldbuilding. Using handheld tufting machines, participants can create and design their own rugs using colorful yarn. Learn how to create and translate a design for the medium as well as learn the basics of a tufting machine and begin filling in your designs.
