The program will begin with an educator-led tour of the exhibition, offering close-looking opportunities and conversation to deepen engagement with Iturbide’s work. During this workshop, participants will create one-of-a-kind handmade books using natural materials such as dried leaves, shells, and wood. Guided by museum educators, you will explore simple bookmaking techniques while considering how organic forms, textures, and found elements can hold memory and meaning.
