Erica Hurley is a third grade teacher at Gillispie School. She recently returned to college and fulfilled her goal of earning a CA single-subject teaching credential in art. She is thrilled to begin a new chapter as an art teacher. She especially enjoys mixed media and three-dimensional art. When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Hurley can be found spending time with her two children, gardening, baking, and of course, making art! We will make beautiful bamboo mixed media art! Our classes are designed for adults. Children ages 10 and up are welcome if they can focus and work independently for the duration of the class. (*If a child participates, a parent or guardian must stay with them throughout the class to provide support. Ultimate is a non-contact, self-officiated team sport with a heavy emphasis on sportsmanship. In 2014, the International Olympic Committee recognized it as an official sport. Upcycle Recycle Reuse Creativity! Monday through Friday July 27 – 31, from 1 – 4 p.m. Ages 8-12 years welcome! In this week-long kids camp, campers will explore upcycling and its endless world of creative options! Kids will use recycled objects on low-fire clay to create texture. Campers will create with scrap wood and other materials.
