  • “EVERYBODY DANCE NOW!” Few lines in pop culture hit as instantly—and that legendary voice belongs to Freedom Williams, the frontman and co-founder of the international multi-platinum powerhouse C+C Music Factory. With over 8 million units sold of “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now),” Freedom helped define a generation of club anthems and continues to electrify crowds worldwide with a commanding stage presence and undeniable charisma. Born in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn and raised in Queens, New York, Freedom came up alongside the roots of hip-hop and dance culture—more creator than spectator from the start. Before the global success, he was rocking parties as MC Tiny Tim and building a reputation as a performer with the kind of energy you can’t teach. That momentum carried into key early releases and collaborations, ultimately leading to the formation of C+C Music Factory featuring Freedom Williams—a run that delivered five #1 Dance/Club hits, including “Gonna Make You Sweat,” “Things That Make You Go Hmmm,” “Just a Touch of Love,” “Do You Wanna Get Funky,” and more. Today, Freedom continues creating and evolving—balancing new music, community activism, and creative projects while keeping that unmistakable voice front and center. Whether you know him from the peak ‘90s club era or you’re discovering him through today’s dance and throwback scenes, a Freedom Williams' performance is pure, high-voltage celebration—built to move the room from the first beat.
