  • The California Police Athletic Federation, a dedicated non-profit organization promoting sports and physical fitness among first responders, is excited to announce the 2026 United States Police and Fire Championships (USPFC). Making its return to San Diego for the 59th year, this premier multi-sport event, taking place from Saturday, June 13 through Saturday, June 20, 2026, celebrates camaraderie, sportsmanship, and community pride through spirited competition, bringing together first responders from across the nation. For the second year, the beautiful Marriott San Diego Mission Valley will be hosting athletes and many of the popular competitions. Offering a variety of Olympic-style competitions, the USPFC features more than 35 different events ranging from team sports like basketball and soccer to individual competitions such as track and field, swimming, and CrossFit®. The annual games draw thousands of athletes from law enforcement, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, custom and correctional officers, and more. The community is invited to come out and watch any of the sporting events taking place throughout the games for free and cheer on the competing athletes.
