Back for another unforgettable season, The Marine Room’s Summer High Tide Dinner Series returns on June 23 and continues monthly through August 22, inviting guests to experience the beauty of La Jolla’s coastline as waves, driven by the moon’s gravitational pull, surge and crash against the restaurant’s floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests can reserve an early Rising Tide Dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and enjoy the start of the waves paired with either a limited à la carte menu or a three-course dinner crafted by Executive Chef Ananda Bareño for $125 per person. For those seeking the most dramatic views of the evening, the High Tide Dinner begins at 7 p.m. with a specially curated four-course menu by Chef Ananda Bareño, served as the waves reach their peak, and includes live music and a sunset toast for $165 per person. Guests may also upgrade to the Chef’s Table Experience for $250 per person, which includes a sommelier-paired wine experience, additional courses, a visit from the chef, and a take-home gift. Representing the Mariana Islands — Guam, Saipan, Tinian, and Rota — this talented group features Janice on guitar, Lilly and Robert on ukuleles, and Benni on U-Bass. Members of the House of Chamorros at Balboa Park, the band has been sharing their “Island Style” music for over six years. Come dance and listen to the blend of Chamorro, Hawaiian, traditional, nostalgic, and contemporary songs, perfect for celebrating a summer evening!
